In addition to our B&B in Louvie-Juzon, we have a lovely apartment for rent on the Atlantic coast in Ciboure. Close to St Jean de Luz, Biarritz and only 10 minutes from Spain it’s in an ideal location for exploring the area. The apartment sleeps four to six people and is available all year. It’s a great place to unwind and relax, (perhaps after spending a few days touring based in our B&B). The apartment itself is a sunny duplex of 60 square metres and ideal for sharing with family or friends. It is located 300m from the beach of Socoa, 2km from the TGV station of St Jean de Luz, 1km from La Corniche, 10 minutes from Hendaye and 20 minutes from San Sebastian.

The accommodation comprises a bright living room with a large bay window and a terrace facing south west, together with two bedrooms (one with either two singles or one king size bed, the other with a double bed and a trundle bed) and both a bathroom and a shower room. The upstairs bedroom also has a nice balcony.

In addition to water sports try hiking along the Corniche leading to Hendaye; visit the Rhune mountain with its small train and discover the magnificent panorama from its summit of the Basque coast, the hinterland and the Pyrenees. Ride your bike through the Ibardin Pass and other neighbouring passes leading to Spain and now the Vélodyssée.

Visits might include Ravel’s house, the Socoa fort, the Bordagain tower, the Aubadia estate and the Urtubie castle. There are local festivals showing the charm of the Basque Country. A stress free visit to St Jean de Luz is well worth it (leave the car in Ciboure – it’s much easier).

Prices

From €500 per week, depending on the season. Weeks are from Saturday to Saturday. Off season, dates can be discussed depending on availability and for a minimum of 3 nights.
