Tour de France 2022 – 21st July – Stage 18: Lourdes=>Hautacam 143 km
Sorry, we are now full for the TdF in 2022!
Live the unique experience of a live stage of the Tour de France and its colourful caravan! With a bit of luck, you might get to meet the various cycling teams in the streets of Lourdes! Join us to watch the Tour live and whilst with us, perhaps take the opportunity to climb the mythic cols of the Tour which are on our door step; Marie-Blanque, Aubisque, Soulor.
Last mountain stage for the climbers, the stage 18 Lourdes-Hautacam will go through our village Louvie-Juzon before the Col d’Aubisque (16.4km climb at 7.1%), descending the Col du Soulor towards Ferrières and then the Col de Spandelles (10.3 km climb at 8.3%) with a descent to Argelès-Gazost for the final climb taking them to the Hautacam ski resort (13.6km climb with an average 7.8% with the highest peak at 11.3%).

Cyclo-Sportives are local cycling events based on a group riding, however you cycle at your own pace. Outside the front runners, most cyclists take part to get a sense of achievement and enjoy the countryside with fellow cyclists. The events are well organised and marshalled and are indeed an enjoyable experience! You will need a cycling license and/or a medical certificate proving you are fit.
